submitted by Joshua R. - |Recommended: YesMega Bright Spots Overshadow The Problems Experienced Living Here. — The previous company that owned the property Lincoln was and is a dumpster fire worthless excuse for an organization. The company that has recently purchased the property Willowick is also trash. What am I basing such harsh critique on I focus on just one simple factor rent and its corresponding increase in value YoY. Because Virginia sucks and kowtows to corporate interests and the rentier landlord class there is NO limit to how much an entity can increase rent prices. But Josh, if that's the case...what will happen next Allow me tell you, sweet, sweet summer child. Lincoln raised rents just because jerk move . Nothing of value was added. No reasoning given because they aren't accountable and nobody is checking their power . Glorious Willowick has continued the fine tradition of not caring a single whit about the residents by showing apartments on the updated Heights website that were already far too expensive near 1600 for MORE THAN 2000 damn dollars a month. Cool. Guess I'll just take it on the chin since Willowick very clearly uses the RealPage software called YieldStar to eliminate the face-to-face interaction between office personnel which severs their ability to be human and understand just how stupid raising rents continuously is. I know full well property management companies would lose precious profit if they didn't keep screwing residents out of money they don't have. The best part is, the preference is to have EMPTY apartments rather than decrease rents because, they think to themselves, where are these rent-stuck saps gonna go Correct, you ghouls. I can't GO anywhere because you keep JACKING UP THE PRICES. Can't afford a home and now you make the deliberate choice to squeeze your renters so they can never save up or do anything beneficial with their funds as long as they're under YOUR roofs, yeah But onto the good stuff. The people Willowick saw fit to keep on past the company shift unless I'm horribly misremembering the situation in Dana, Josue and btw, Josue, you are a 5-star guy...it's the uh, others...that kinda dragged the star rating down , and Taylor are straight up top-tier. I still don't understand what spells you use to remember people's names. Always ridiculously pleasant and kind in an evergreen kinda way. When situations mandate interaction with humans forced to display the business façade required by today's corporate overlords of their professionals, there are no other people I'd rather be forced to interact with. As an aside, if I recall correctly there was a letter put up in the elevator about meeting our new family or something like that on some such and such day. My family doesn't try and screw me out of my hard-earned assets every chance they get. My FAMILY isn't shockingly and unrepentantly greedy. Willowick, you are not my family. Willowick, you are not my friends. You are actively and aggressively amplifying the leech-like behaviors that I detested in Lincoln. I wish you a speedy and decisive bankruptcy but I know that won't happen so I'll just impotently spit venom at you from afar and do my resolute best to ignore the personnel in the office as if you were ghosts whispering at me through the walls of an old, abandoned house. Except for Dana, Taylor, and Josue. And I'd even stop that if I discovered it was making any of those three's lives more difficult. Additionally, you are the only ones I might actually force myself to say suh, d00ds to. Keep it up and I hope the new organization is treating you well, as you deserve.
